High potential and gifted education

At Claymore Public School, we are committed to providing every student with the opportunity to reach their full potential. In line with the NSW Department of Education’s High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) policy, our school focuses on identifying, nurturing, and extending the talents of students across the intellectual, creative, social-emotional, and physical domains.

We acknowledge that each child possesses distinct strengths and learning needs. Through the HPGE initiative, our teachers create learning experiences that challenge, engage, and inspire students to pursue excellence while nurturing their wellbeing and development.

Our aim is to cultivate a school environment that emphasises high expectations, curiosity, and achievement, supporting students in building confidence, resilience, and a lifelong passion for learning.
