Additional learning support

Support Classes

In addition to our mainstream classes, Claymore Public School has 8 support classes that provide tailored learning for students with additional needs. Access to these classes is based on specific criteria and is determined by a placement panel.

Before applying for a support class, your school’s learning and support team consults with the student and parents/carers to explore all available support options prior to considering support class placement. If required, your child's school will then apply for a support class through the ERN access request system.

For information on your child's eligibility, contact your school executive or counselling team.
