Claymore Public School has a population of 467 students with a wide range of needs.
The school prides itself on being able to cater for a variety of student needs with particular strengths lying in catering for students with special learning needs. The school specialises in Student Welfare and Special Education programs and is building on its successes in Sport and The Arts. Enrolment numbers are slowly rising with the vast majority of new enrolments being from the Pacific Islander community. The District Home School Liaison team has played a crucial role in endeavouring to improve attendance patterns.
